Believe Again CIC, empowering people, families, communities and businesses to value themselves and each other — Liverpool
Social value

Real social value, measurably delivered.

As a Community Interest Company, Believe Again CIC was built to create social value, not bolt it on. Our work addresses intersectional disadvantage and strengthens contextual safeguarding around the people and places that need it most. Here's how it delivers under the UK government's Social Value Model, and how we help corporates and partner organisations earn credible social value credit of their own.

How our services create social value

Tackling economic inequality

We create new opportunities for people who have been pushed out of traditional employment and business support, including survivors of domestic abuse, carers, neurodivergent founders and those rebuilding after crisis. Every programme widens access to enterprise, skills and decent work.

Healthier, safer, more resilient communities

Our compassionate, trauma-informed work reduces isolation, supports mental wellbeing and helps people recover their confidence. Stronger individuals build stronger families, stronger streets and a more resilient Liverpool City Region.

Equal opportunity and inclusion

Real equality is the principle our organisation is built on. We advocate for people the system overlooks and design services so that gender, background, disability, neurodivergence or lived experience never become barriers to growth.

Fighting climate change responsibly

We deliver low-carbon: digital-first training, local Liverpool-based delivery, reusable resources and partnerships with organisations committed to sustainable practice.

Skills and lifelong learning

Every workshop, mentoring session and online resource builds practical skills, confidence and employability, from first steps in self-employment through to advanced leadership and wellbeing at work.

Wellbeing at work

We help workplaces become kinder, safer and more honest places to be, reducing stress, absenteeism and turnover while raising morale and belonging.

For corporates & partner organisations

Earn measurable social value credit by partnering with us.

Under PPN 002 and the Social Value Model, buyers and bidders are expected to evidence outcomes across five themes (MACs). When you commission training, consultancy or community delivery from Believe Again CIC, those hours and that spend count, and we help you prove it. Explore our Strategic Partnerships to see how we work alongside providers, funders and corporates.

MAC 1 · Tackling economic inequality

Open up opportunity through your supply chain

Commission training, mentoring or consultancy from Believe Again CIC and you directly support people facing barriers to enterprise and employment. As a Community Interest Company led by lived experience, every pound spent with us is reinvested into the people and communities your contract is meant to serve.

Counts towards
  • Spend with a VCSE / social enterprise (PPN 002 evidence)
  • Creation of new training and employment opportunities for under-represented groups
  • Support for local SMEs, micro-businesses and founders from disadvantaged backgrounds
MAC 2 · Equal opportunity

Train your staff to build a fairer workplace

When we train your team, on inclusive leadership, neurodiversity, trauma-informed practice, domestic abuse awareness or psychological safety, you earn measurable social value while making your culture genuinely safer and more inclusive.

Counts towards
  • Number of staff hours of training on equality, diversity and inclusion
  • Reduction in the disability, gender or ethnicity pay gap through better practice
  • Improved representation in recruitment, retention and progression
MAC 3 · Wellbeing

Invest in the mental health of your people

Our wellbeing, resilience and burnout-recovery sessions give staff practical tools rooted in lived experience, not theory. Partners report stronger engagement, lower sickness absence and teams who actually talk to each other.

Counts towards
  • Staff hours invested in mental health and wellbeing training
  • Initiatives that improve workforce health and reduce absenteeism
  • Community wellbeing projects co-delivered with Believe Again CIC
MAC 4 · Fighting climate change & MAC 5 · Covid recovery and resilience

Partner on community resilience projects

We co-design local, low-carbon programmes with corporates, public sector buyers and funders, from founder support clinics to community wellbeing workshops, that build long-term resilience in the places you operate.

Counts towards
  • Volunteer hours released to support community organisations
  • In-kind contributions and shared-cost community projects
  • Local delivery that reduces travel emissions and supports the regional economy

How partnership works

01

Tell us your priorities

Share the social value themes your contract, tender or ESG strategy is measured against. We'll map them to where we can genuinely move the needle.

02

We design the package

Training, mentoring, consultancy, community delivery or a blend. Everything is shaped around your people and the outcomes you need to evidence.

03

We deliver with care

Warm, practical, lived-experience-led sessions, online or in Liverpool, with materials your team will actually use.

04

You get the evidence

We provide attendance, hours, demographics (where consented) and impact statements you can drop straight into social value returns and ESG reporting.

"When you invest in our work, you don't just buy training. You fund equality, recovery and opportunity, and you get the evidence to prove it."
